Calling ALL Artists, Creators, or attendees of BGU art events!
Submit artwork with at least one of the following qualifications:
1. Artwork created in a BGU event (virtual happy hour, painting class or the like)
2. Artwork inspired by Black or Brown people, culture, or history
3. Your original artwork as a Black or Brown artist.
All art must be original including paintings, drawings, collages, digital art, fiber art and photography, sculpture and the like. Use of copyrighted material is prohibited.
Note that artwork will be reviewed based upon quality, completeness, and adherence to at least one of the aforementioned qualifications so submit your artwork accordingly as all submittals will be reviewed.
Art entries created at a BGU event are $10 per submission.
Art entries created outside of BGU events are encouraged, $15 per submission.
Art Submission Deadline: December 15, 2020
Notification of Art Acceptance: December 27, 2020
Virtual Art Exhibition Opening Reception (tentative): January 28, 2021
and February 4, 2021 at 7pm EST
2020 has been rough but through it all you have produced some beautiful art work while in quarantine. BGU has hosted various virtual Happy Hours, and painting events producing some amazing art and connecting attendees with their inner creative. Now is the time to share what you have created in our virtual art events OR art that you have created during the COVID-19 pandemic!
We want to display in our virtual gallery what you have created during quarantine.
This call for art is open to ALL creators and artists who have attended BGU events AND those who have created on their own.
